Suzanne Golden, M.S., CCC-SLP Speech-Language Pathologist!
Suzanne (Suzy) lives in Plymouth with her husband and their 3-year old daughter. She also holds a Master’s degree in speech-language pathology and owns a private speech therapy practice in Plymouth. Suzy has been a speech therapist since 2008 and has experience in public schools, early intervention and private practice. She strives to provide comprehensive and family-centered speech therapy to children with a variety of speech and language disorders.
Suzy obtained an undergraduate degree in elementary education from Bridgewater State College and a graduate degree in speech-language pathology from Worcester State College. Suzanne holds the
Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), is licensed to practice in the state of Massachusetts and holds her teaching license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education.
Suzanne has experience providing therapy in a variety of settings. She has spent time working in early intervention, private practice, public schools and private schools dedicated to servicing children with severe special needs. She has experience assessing and treating various speech and language disorders. These disorders include, but are not limited to: articulation/phonological impairments, childhood apraxia of speech, expressive/receptive language disorders, communication disorders in children with Autism, and feeding/swallowing impairments.
Suzanne is also a member of the special interest division for Augmentative/Alternative Communication (AAC). She is experienced with various AAC devices (Dynavox, iPad) and is trained in the Picture Exchange
Communication System (PECS).
Golden Speech Therapy will be offering free screenings beginning the first week in August. We will provide more information regarding this soon! We look forward to her sharing her expertise in her blogs!
