Cape Kids Cast for March 14, 2019: Celebrating National Literacy Month with Reading Activities!

This week the Cape Kids Cast continues to explore National Literacy Month by attending Literacy Night at a local school. They explored different games and activities that kids can do at home with their parents. They also met local author, Michelle Cusolito who wrote "Flying Deep", a story about ALVIN. It is important to make literacy connections within every day life. Not only does it help encourage literacy skills but it also helps children bridge the gap
between school and the world.
