I want to introduce Cape Cod Moms to a healthier and safer way of cleaning. Norwex has been around for 25yrs. It's mission is to radically reduce chemicals in the home. The reason why I decided to become a Consultant for Norwex was because one day my husband and I were doing our normal Sunday cleaning routine and my husband was using a Swiffer wet jet to clean the kitchen floor. My daughter who is only 19 months likes to pretend clean when we are cleaning (it's the cutest thing), well anyways she was pretend cleaning by rubbing her hands on the floor that he just had sprayed those chemicals from the swiffer wet jet! I was mortified! That's when I knew I had to make a change! A friend of mine that I knew was a Norwex consultant approached me about Norwex and I was skeptical at first because I was already doing a makeup network marketing gig. I found myself in a slump and just uninspired. I researched Norwex and and immediately fell in love with what they stood for and the products. I decided to ditch the makeup and be a Norwex Consultant! My favorite thing about Norwex is there are no harsh chemicals! You clean with WATER! YES I SAID WATER! It is truly amazing! I can keep my home and kids safe from chemicals. Everything is is reusable! You save a ton of money on cleaning supplies! When comparing buying traditional chemicals and all their "accessories" it sure adds up, especially since everything is disposable. Norwex is sustainable and last longer!! I am available for home and facebook parties! They have amazing incentives when you host a party!! April is Mop month! So you could get a free Mop system with a qualifying party. ![]() Born and raised on Cape Cod and Married to her best friend. she is a Mommy to Jonathon and Paige and a Norwex Consultant link: https://sbayer.norwex.biz Cape Kids Cast Family Vacation Special at Double Tree by Hilton Boston & CoCo Key Water Park3/21/2019 This week, the Cape Kids Cast brings you their family vacation special! They explored different games and activities that kids can do at home with their parents. They also met local author, Michelle Cusolito who wrote "Flying Deep", a story about ALVIN. It is important to make literacy connections within every day life. Not only does it help encourage literacy skills but it also helps children bridge the gap between school and the world. Special thanks to the North Falmouth Elementary PTO for having us join them! And special thanks to Michelle Cusolito for her reading of "Flying Deep". For Immediate Release:
"We were thrilled that on Monday, March 11, 2019, we were able to present this check to the Morse Pond PTO, on behalf of Falmouth Families, Community & Safety First. Our group, made up of local parents, came together unexpectedly last summer when we heard of Gosnold’s plan to open a Dual Detox facility within a stone’s throw of our Middle School. This was never a fight against helping people who suffer from mental illness and addiction, rather a fight for our children who deserve better. We spent countless hours researching facilities of this type, how close they were in relation to a school, and problems that came along with the close proximity. After hearing of increased lock down situations, needles disposed of in school yards and unwanted visitors frequenting the premise, we vowed to do whatever it takes to make sure our kids would not be put in that situation. Being a parent comes with constant worry and concern. In a world where we are now having to practice lockdown drills, even at the preschool and kindergarten levels, it is unfathomable that a facility like this would even be considered next to our children. We are not blind to the opioid addiction that is facing our town, but we also cannot put corporate greed ahead of the health, safety and wellness of our seniors and our children. Members of the Morse Pond PTO received the check for $1500 from Amy Leonardi on behalf of the Save Morse Pond group. Funds for the donation came from money raised by the group’s Go Fund Me page, and were given on behalf of those who indicated they would like the money to be donated to the Morse Pond School in lieu of receiving a refund. The money will be used towards creating an outdoor classroom, which will be enjoyed by both students and staff of Morse Pond School as well as by the community. Seeing this money, that multiple families donated, go towards an outdoor classroom for the students of Morse Pond, makes us so happy. We will continue supporting Falmouth families. We will be getting involved in our local government including Town Meeting and School Committee and doing what is best for the safety and wellbeing of our residents. Go Osprey!"
