Dean Coe is the author of the Chesterton collection of five picture books and one chapter book featuring Chesterton, a good-natured, ever-curious weasel living on Cape Cod. The picture book stories include: Chesterton Keeps His Town Jumping, Chesterton Saves the Whale, Chesterton’s Scary Breakfast, Chesterton’s Winter Rescue (read Molly's review here), and Chesterton Saves The Bunnies. Wild Moon, a chapter book is the latest in the collection of nature stories based on the shores and woodlands of Cape Cod. Read Molly's review of the book here. Dean has been an active member of the Cape Cod community serving as a Director of The Cape and Islands United Way, The Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital, The Sandwich Public Library, and The Community Bank. He was a founder of the Sandwich Chamber of Commerce, The Sandwich Boardwalk Reconstruction Committee, and The Sandwich Arts Alliance.
