A lifelong Cape Cod native, Melissa Oliveira is a mostly stay at home mom to three children (ages 2, 3 1/2 and 16) and lives with her husband and puggle named Belle. Mornings are spent attempting to tire the littles in hopes that nap time will afford her some quality crafting time at the kitchen table.  Also a long time multi-crafter, her interests have stemmed from jewelry making as a teen to scrapbooking and paper crafting, spending time working at a local scrapbook store and instructing classes as well as spending four years as a design team member for a major cardstock company. Her interest in sewing and crochet blossomed in her early twenties and has evolved to a small home based business. Melissa's "bzzyfingers" career began as an email address, then blog and Etsy shop, and finally a facebook fan page. Many of the products offered through her etsy shop and facebook page are inspired by her needs as a mother of little girls; pacifier clips, diaper clutches, burp cloths, diaper changing mats, bibs and hair clips as well as embellished shirts, skirts and dresses.  I recently had the opportunity to check out and review a fabulous business called: A2Z BOWtique. Cape Cod Mom Kelly Eckstein is the owner and creative genius behind this adorable boutique consisting of fun printed dresses and complimentary hair accessories for girls! Even if you don't have a little girl, these dresses and bows make great presents for nieces, grandchildren, or friends! (Read on to find out how to win a fab custom made dress!) Kelly is a stay at home mom to a beautiful little girl named Zoe. and teaches dance at Turning Pointe Dance Studio, located in Falmouth, in the evenings. Kelly has always had a passion for crafting. We chatted with Kelly about her new venture: When did you first start crafting? I just started sewing as of 2012...but I have been crafting for about 8 years. What types of color combos and prints are your faves? I love bright colors!! What is your inspiration and why dresses? My daughter Zoe is my inspiration and she loves being mommy's little model! Dresses are easy to make and I love putting on the finishing touch with a matching bow. How do you incorporate this into daily Mommy life? I love finding new and exciting places to shop for my kids. I'm sort of a crazy organic mommy always in search of safe, non-toxic toys for my kids. Since I'm obsessed with handmade items on etsy.com, I thought I'd give their toy section a browse. This may or may not have been a good idea! I literally could spend hours going through each page and liking all of the great products!
