New Legoland Addition
With New England’s April Fools Day joke being snow this year the kids and I headed to Legoland to checkout the new interactive exhibit there. If you are interested in visiting Legoland in general checkout my other posts here and here.
As usual we arrived just as Legoland opened and there was no line. After taking the factory tour (my kids wanted to do for Legoland bricks but there were none which was disappointing) and taking the Save the Princess Ride we headed to the new exhibit Lego City Builders. Lego City Builder is the start of a city with building and cars that are already built and glued down and then there are buildings that are started that you can add to and empty spaces to build your own buildings. Also in the exhibit are smaller tables with building prompts and extra bricks to add to the city. There are two Lego puppies and two robbers hiding in the city to find. My kids spent about an hour in the Lego City building their own buildings and only stopped because we needed to head home. The one thing I was disappointed with was the upkeep of Lego City it has only been open for about 6 weeks and most of the building are already missing pieces, glued mini figures pulled out and taken and the Lego plates are dirty. I will definitely be taking the kids back to play at Lego City Builders and hopefully the exhibit is in better repair!
Have you been to the Lego City Builders exhibit, what did you think of it?
