The best thing about king Richards is everything...the history my family shares from years of going, the amazing photos of all the kids having the best time being princesses or pirates, the roses, the chicken legs. It's the best!

My husband and I had our first date there 17 years ago so a lot of good memories there. We loved the live shows, the food is great (chowder in a bread bowl) yummy, the costumes are great. We haven't gone in over ten years. I'm sure there are lots of new and exciting things. Would love to bring our children so they can experience how great it is and we're mommy and daddy went on there first date.

Oh wow, where to begin! King Richard's Faire is such a fun opportunity to escape from reality for an afternoon. My family and I love to go and dress up as pirates - each year our costumes get a little more elaborate and memorable, and the folks who work at the Faire remember us! I love that I'm creating new memories each and every year with people who truly love this Faire. I have been going to King Richard's Faire since I was a young adult back in 1989. Now I am fortunate to have a wife, and 4 children (ages 7-20) who all enjoy the Faire as much as I do. It is the one and only thing that we all do together, with equal joy! THAT is what I love so much about King Richard's Faire! And though we can only afford to go once a year, we all look forward to it throughout the rest of the year! I love everything about this faire, every year my boyfriend and I head there for military appreciation day because what better way to thank a veteran that allowing them to eat turkey legs and watch grown men fight on horseback ha! It's the one time a year we get to fully indulge in being nerds, while at the same time feeling appreciated for serving this country.

Our favorite part of the faire is the overall atmosphere! There is nothing like it. Whether it's at the joisting field or watching one of the stages or just walking around to admire the faire's great vibes, it's enjoyable, unique and easy to navigate all at once. This atmosphere also lets kids see that adults can have fun, too! We love it :-)

I love Jacque the Whippeteur and how he manages to get my sweet 6 year old and turn her into a heckler lol. We have been two years in a row and hope to make it a 3rd!

My favorite thing about King Richard's Faire has always been the sense of escape a day spent there provides. You can leave your worries in the parking lot, and just go be silly and get lost in another time, for a time.

Love everything about the faire. Especially the fact that my autistic son gets excited about it every year. But the absolute best has to be the show at the end with Jacques and Ses....the super secret show...or at least that's what they used to call it.

I love the food, the shows, the costumes, the entertainers, just everything about the faire. It's just like stepping out of time for a day and dreaming a fantasy. It's so much fun. We celebrated our first anniversary there and it used to be a yearly tradition, costumes and all. We have missed the last couple years due to the birth of our youngest children but we can't wait to be able to share our love of the faire with them some day.

I love the amazing family memories that can be made there. My sons' aunt was able to treat them to the fair for a couple years. This year we'd live to be able to treat her.
