![]() VivaRoses Review & Giveaway By: Elizabeth D Unless you're Katniss Everdeen, you probably like roses. They're pretty, fragrant, unique and the colors are universally understood. And what's better than a few roses? A few dozen. That's what you get when you order from VIVAROSES. VIVAROSES is a company who has partnered with a farm in Cotopaxi, Ecuador. Why a farm located next to a volcano in Ecuador? Legend has it that a poor farmer vying the affection of a princess searched high and low until he found the perfect roses to win her hand in marriage. The website shares this story along with adorable other stories for the bouquets you can order. They carry bouquets of 24, 50 or 100 from $50-100. Shipping is even free! The only drawback is the lead-time required to get your order. Current orders have delivery dates beginning 7 days from now. VIVAROSES offers concierge type services, where you can schedule future deliveries for important dates or get an auto-shipment for a discount. There's even an incredible incentive program - for every referral you get 2 dozen roses for free. It works, I did it! ![]() I chose to send the Farmer's Choice to a friend. The packaging was a chic black and the interior was reminiscent of a Victoria's Secret bag. The roses were bundled per dozen and then carefully wrapped in 4's. The attention to detail was great but it generated a lot of (recylcable) waste. ![]() The roses were gorgeous and required minimal pruning. Of concern was the lack of food provided for so many flowers: only 1 package for 50 roses. This seemed to be an exception based on feedback from my other orders. After 5 days, the roses began to wither but they lasted up to 10 days with changing the water and adding sugar. This was fine since I needed my pitchers back - it's hard to find that many tall vases! Overall VIVAROSES is a unique concept for flower buying. If you're not in a hurry or are a decent planner, it's worth the wait. You're not likely to find a better deal than $1-2 per rose with free shipping. Plus Cape Cod Moms readers get 15% roses! Purple and yellow, I would love them for me to enjoy on my maternity leave with my daughter and I always cut my roses down often so the stems are fresh to get water :)

My favorite color roses are peach... Has been my favorite since I was a child. I would split them among my best mommy friends and keep some for myself. Flowers always make people smile! A tip I've always used with roses is cut the stem, peel off any petals that are browned & put a bit of 7up or Sprite in the water to make them last longer.

My mom, who is in remission from non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, will be visiting us this summer. These roses would make her day! To keep the roses from wilting, we will keep them in her bedroom, which is cooler and darker than other rooms in the house. She would love a mix of pink, cream, lavender, and peach-colored roses. Thank you!

My favorite color roses are blue and white! I would share them with my family and friends to bring smiles to their faces! I try to cut the bottoms at an angle and give them fresh water!

My favorite color roses are pink. I would share them with my daughter who is 9 and also loves roses. I love to see her smile and this surely would. I have heard that if you cut the roses under water they last longer.

Pink and red are my favorites! I would split these roses into two bouquets and give them to my two kids, ages 5 and 7. They love to have fresh flowers in their bedrooms! My suggestion for keeping them alive longer is to cut the ends frequently and fresh water

Thank you. My favorite color roses are red, pink, yellow and peach. I would split the roses between my mother, daughter and me. I change my water every couple of days and keep them out of direct sunlight and away from warm areas.

Yellow roses are the best! These would be for my 90 year old mom. She's housebound and enjoys having flowers in her home. I also cut the stems at an angle change the water every day and add ice cubes to the base.
